Is Education for BREAD and BUTTER alone?

Educationist will tell you, A good education is needed. So you end up getting the Masters degree. By this time, things change so much that the country resembles the LPG cylinder- Liberalisation, Privatisation and Globalisation. So you go ahead and finish up with the Doctrate. You finally apply for the job with confidence. After a long wait, you get the reply- 'You are too old for this job. We are looking for younger blood.'
Education is a hoax by which wat is in the teacher's books gets into the student's books without passing the heads of either. We become educated and impart education with one purpose. For the one getting it, the purpose is to earn in plenty for a luxurious and comfortable life and for the one giving it is also the same. Thats why its said: " They know enough, who know how to earn."
the process of education beings with birth and continues through life. All that we experience serves as a form of education. The goal of education is the development of individual's capacity to be happy, successful and productive members of the society.
But the concept of today's education revolves around only one object of earning bread and butter. We actually don't understand that:
'Money will buy you bed but not sleep, books but not brains, food but no appetite, medicine but no health, luxury but no culture, sex but not love.'
It is for this reason that despite having all the competitive man and brain power, India still remains a developing country! Its the result of our greed that we have inculcated the evils of corruption, bribery, poverty, unemployment and the list never ends.
The world's future is in our hands and it depends on us how to lead the future so that the world may become a happy and better place to reside.
